What is the Setup/Activation Fee for?

This fee is for setting up your account and providing support during the template and submitting a batch processes. It also includes a card template design with branding if needed. This is a one-time charge.

When does NextSteps charge me?

We charge at the end of each month based on field usage.

How do I get billed?

NextSteps charges your card on file.

Can I see when NextSteps charges me?

Yes. You will receive an email every time your card is charged. You can also see your billing details within your portal under Billing.

Do you have other options for billing than adding a credit card on file?

Not at this time, since we are billing your usage after it happens we need to have a card on file.

What if I no longer want to use NextSteps?

First, disconnect your ChMs within your NextSteps portal and then send an email to [email protected]

Can I change my billing information?

Yes you can change your card on file and your billing address within your portal.

What is the Trial account?

You can scan up to allotted # of cards with unlimited fields just so you can get to know us.

Is there a charge for the trial?

As long as you do not scan over your allotted trial cards there is no charge.

How can I cancel my trial before the Activation/Setup fee is charged?

You will not be charged unless you put your credit card information inside your portal which tells us you are ready to move off trial and on to live.

How do I go from trial to live?

You can wait to use your allotted cards for the trial period or you can just add your credit card in your portal.

How long does it take to get my NextSteps account activated?

We usually process this within 24 hours

What if I do not want to do a trial and just want to start using NextSteps?

Just let us know and then within 24 hours you will receive an email with your information.

What if I have multiple cards with different number of fields?

No problem, NextSteps knows how many fields you have processed during that month and you will be billed according to that.


Does NextSteps delete addresses when it updates that field within our F1 ChMs?

No. If a new address is put on a card we put that into your F1 ChMs and move the old address to previous.

Does NextSteps create duplicates within the ChMS?

We try our best not to create duplicates by looking at multiple items from the card and within your ChMs to match the person with the right record or household.

Can I add users to my account?

Yes. Inside your dashboard you can add users.

What accuracy can I expect?

We are 99.8% accurate on reading cards.

Do I need to buy new hardware?

No. As long as you have the capability to scan your cards through a feeder you can use your current equipment.

Will it work with our current cards?

Yes, but we suggest sending us your card so we can look it over to ensure it will get everything you need and keeping up with 99.8%.
